SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On July 2, ACORN members joined Calif. Senate President Pro Tempore Don Perata and Assembly Speaker Karen Bass urging Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign a landmark bill that would reform the foreclosure process and help keep 1 million California families in their homes.

Senate Bill 1137 is one of the country’s strongest legislative measures yet to stem the foreclosure crisis in one of the largest and hardest-hit states.
